Empowering Boudoir Photography Studio

Here at Classic Boudoir, our goal is that your experience brings you joy and liberation. Those are lofty goals and we we truly believe in them. They are the principles behind this studio but what do they really mean?

The definition of joy is “a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.“ That sums up what we want our clients to feel before, during, and after your time in the studio, a lightness, a calm feeling of joy, self-love, and appreciation.

The definition of freedom is “the act of setting someone free from imprisonment, slavery, or oppression; release.“ Liberation from responsibilities, liberation from unhealthy messaging, liberation from judgment, liberation from the grinding pressure of stress, liberation from the humdrum of everyday life.

Your boudoir experience is all about you, right now, regardless of your history, age, shape, or size, it’s all about you. My team and I will provide the environment for you to step into this glorious version of YOU. YOU are in there, I know you are. Boudoir strips away the facade and allows your authentic self to shine bright. Be beautiful, be seen, be real.

So how did I get to these goals? Well, my photography journey started many years ago when I was looking for a way to capture the beauty I experienced while doing my other great passion, hiking. I bought a camera kit, strapped it to my backpack, and started landscape and wildlife photography. I was hooked! Some of the things and places I saw took my breath away and now I could capture that and show others the wonder of nature. I’ve now brought that love of natural beauty and applied it to photographing and capturing the sensual beauty of people.

I live in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia with my fantastic wife Rachel, our two wonderful boys, and two cats. We love being out in nature, walking, or taking trips in our RV Bessie.

I’ve even been known to pose a little! Don’t worry, you’ll look way better than I did :)
